Owner,
General Dentist
Dr. Leah Hairston, DDS
Dr. Leah Hairston leads the practice as owner and general dentist in Ravenswood, WV, with more than 10 years of experience in general dentistry. Dr. Hairston lives in Ravenswood but grew up in Spencer, WV. She graduated from Roane County High School in 2007. After graduation, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Chemistry from Shepherd University. After graduating from Shepherd, she received her DDS degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2015. Dr. Leah and her husband, Jeremy met while attending Shepherd University. They have 3 children- Charlotte, Ella, and Jackson. She enjoys camping and spending time with her family while she is not in the office.
Dental Hygienist
Billie Murphy, RDH
Billie works as a dental hygienist and calls Ripley, WV home after growing up in Ravenswood. She brings six years of hygiene experience, plus two-and-a-half years as a dental assistant before hygiene school, and she earned her dental assisting certification while living in Colorado. Billie completed an associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Concorde in Colorado, and she enjoys helping patients feel comfortable while teaching practical oral hygiene habits. Outside the office, she stays busy with crafts like pottery, crocheting, and painting, along with walks and travel. Billie is a proud mom to her 11-month-old daughter, Isla. Billie also just welcomed her second baby girl, Birdie Maeve, in late July!
Dental Assistant
Shelley Stricker
Shelly resides in Ravenswood and has supported patients as a dental assistant for eight years. She helps deliver care for patients from young to old while continuing to build her skills through dental hygiene studies at Bridge Valley Community & Technical College. Shelly enjoys camping and spending time with her family in her free time. Shelly and her husband, Todd have two kids, Todd Jr. (21) and Taylor (18) as well as a full house of pets that includes Jango the German Shepherd, Pixie the Treeing Feist, and cats Oscar and Maddie. Shelly and Todd are expecting their first grandchild in the fall of 2026!
Dental Assistant
Kelsey Scarberry
Kelsey has spent close to a decade working as a dental assistant with Dr. Hairston. She earned an associate degree in dental assisting from WVJC and brings that training into every appointment to support the clinical team and keep visits running smoothly. Kelsey and her husband Kyler live in Ripley, WV with their children, Ace, Aleigha, and Emersyn. They are also expecting a baby girl in January of 2027!
Dental Assistant / EFDA
Trish Morris
Trish lives in Sandyville, WV and works as a dental assistant and EFDA with 30 years of hands-on experience. She enjoys working with kids and brings steady, confident support to each procedure and patient visit. She is a pediatric ROCKSTAR! When she is off the clock, she likes fishing, hiking, running, and spending time with family.

Anna Fordyce
Anna is the newest addition to the family! She is a friendly face that you will see working chairside with Dr. Hairston, helping ensure every patient has a comfortable and positive experience. Although she is new to the dental field, Anna has quickly become an invaluable member of our team. Anna is married to her husband, Jeremy, and together they have two wonderful sons, Landon and Tucker. She loves spending time with her family, especially on their family farm. She is excited to continue growing in her dental career.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Stephanie Grandee, RDH
Stephanie comes from Ripley, WV and has provided dental hygiene care for 26 years. Stephanie earned her AS in dental hygiene from West Liberty University and brings deep experience into preventive care and patient education. She is also a mom to Abigail and Jillian, and she has two dogs, Rio and Maizy.
Registered Dental Hygienist
RaeEllen Stackpole, RDH
RaeEllen brings 21 years of dental hygiene experience and supports patients through preventive care and education. She earned an associate degree in dental hygiene from West Liberty University and uses that training to help patients build consistent habits between visits. RaeEllen is also a mom to Rachel, Hannah, and Brody, and she has a cat named Spooky.
Office Manager
Pamela Berkhouse
Pam manages the office and has called Ravenswood home for the last five years. Before joining the practice, she built a strong background with BlueCross BlueShield as a customer service representative and claims processor, and then moved into an IT specialist role, which gave her a deeper understanding of systems and documentation. She now uses that experience to help with insurance claim processing and keeping the front office organized and efficient. Pam and her husband, Brian, have two daughters, Dr. Leah and her sister Lindsay. Pam and Brian have 5 grandchildren- Noah, Charlotte, Evan, Ella, and Jackson. They spend a lot of time with family at their pool as well as dog shows and confirmation events with their 4 legged babies- Chopper, Willie, and Kimber.
Office Coordinator
Heather Johnson
Heather lives in Ravenswood and supports the team as office coordinator and sterilization assistant. She helps keep daily operations on track. She earned an associate degree in business from WVU and applies that background to scheduling, communication, and office organization. Heather and her husband, Mike have two sons. Luke is 13 and Levi is 9. She also shares her home with four dogs and one cat.
Receptionist
Kristee Snyder
Kristie lives in Washington, WV and serves as the practice receptionist, bringing decades of dental experience to the front desk. She retired after 31 years as a dental hygienist and holds an associate degree in dental hygiene from West Liberty State College, which helps her understand patient needs from the first phone call to check-in. Kristie enjoys road trips, bonfires, and paddle boarding when she is away from the office.
